Default Re: Is Floyd or manny more versatile?

Manny is easily my favorite fighter in the game today, but I definitely think Floyd is more versatile. Floyd is a genius at changing momentum in a fight. Manny is much better at that than some give him credit for, as he usually puts people into their place when they get too much steam on him, but Floyd usually has more options because he is so intelligent in the ring.

Again, Manny's my favorite fighter and I badly want to see him shut Floyd up and knock him out, but I don't predict fights with my heart, I use my head. It's an even fight where I feel Floyd is a bit of a favorite. I think they have opposite strengths and can easily envision scenarios where Floyd's defense and timing are too sharp, he withstands some early tough rounds en route to a late round stoppage or UD. I can also envision a fight where Floyd's limited output lead to his demise, as despite his tremendous defense, there will be too much offense to defend everything. But by but he gets broken down, then stopped late.

They both have a real shot at winning the fight, despite the fact one fighter is my favorite, and dislike the other.

I already addressed this in another thread. Manny is an aggressive counter puncher. He has power so he is looking to force his opponent into a fight, which will give him more opportunities to hurt his opponent with counters. Floyd doesn't have power so he looks to land a few good potshots and win the round.
Why do I try. You're the same guy that thinks Manny Pacquiao is a better counter puncher than Pernell Witaker

Pernell is better because he can counter more punches and do it more often.

Like I said, a guy who counters every single one of your punches and wins a 12 round decision is better than

A guy who counters only one punch of yours in the 6th round, but knocks you out with it

Manny though much improved still seems like a one dimensional whirlwind fighter

You're too stupid and ignorant to argue with. Who the hell cites wise ass quotes that they don't even understand?

Like I said your vaginal ass can't handle the fact that the majority isn't going with your individual humble opinion.

The guy thinks Manny is versatile, Floyd is one dimensional, and Pernell Witaker isn't a great counter puncher

He's way too far behind when it comes to boxing. Everyone who is schooling him deserves to get paid for it.
