Hope this one doesn't get stopped prematurely like the others.
Yanks always lose here Walker,Beck,Echols,Crawford,Griffin,RJJ.they cant travel.

I know what you're saying but I haven't seen a single Australian betting agency with this fight listed. Meehan is favourite no matter which way you look at it. He's at home, with a better proven track record.

IMO most of those guys lost because they had underestimated their opponent thinking of an easy win in Australia.

Both Meehan and Quinn were Don King fighters and have sparred many times...Evans knows what he doing.

Also Evans is looking to live and fight out of Australia so he's going to be the home town fighter soon

Tell that to Archie Moore... mind you, you'd need to use a ouija board.

What about Nicaraguans? Can they travel?

The story goes that Dick Lean raced furiously to Ron Richards corner after the first round vs Moore... Richards had landed a typical dynamite right hand on Moore, dropping him cold for a 9 count..

Lean screamed at Richards "You better take it easy on my boy.. It's cost a packet just getting him here"...

The booze was already getting the better of Richards' training, yet he failed due to cuts in the first bout and took Archie 12 in the second..

Agree he'll bring plenty for Kali to contend with though.
Yup he will be a good challenger but i won't count this fight as a bad lost for Quinn because the referee should make sure the opponent is in the neutral corner before he carry on with the count. So many times it happen that a boxer knock someone down and then he don't go to the neutral corner and the referee don't notice it and keep counting the boxer that's on the canvas. I will say Kali is a much better boxer than Laikhovich and he will win on ko. He must just make sure Quin don't have enough space to move around.

This box night look good and the under card is also not too bad. Adam Forsyth is also something to look at and i will say he deserve a shot at the Australian c/weight title. I thing he can take it if he is focus and fit. Got a good record and i think they work and pick his fights well.
