Have you analysed Maidanas record?...his chin is far from solid, Khan hasn't been knocked down by a man with a 10% KO ratio and a 13-9 record. I've just finished watching (endured more like) the Maidana - Corley fight and to be honest if the cooked Corley had pushed the issue in the later rounds he would have had Maidana out of there...he had him rocked on several occasions. If old Corley can do it, Khan certainly can.

It's not like you are getting rode by paying for a Khan/Maidana fight. They are both top 5 fighters. It's not in any way comparable to Haye/Harrison which is pathetic to put it mildly.

This should be a good fight if it ever happens, no matter how fast Khan's hands are, his chin isn't the greatest in the world. |

Yup I'll buy... But khan deals with him comfortably IMO. He'll outbox, out move and out think maidada who I'm really not buying atm. I even think Ortiz beats him in a rematch.

Another thing, 42% KO ratio includes the fights he lost. He won 22/37 of his victories by way of KO/TKO. He lost 14, which paints a much different picture when comparing his power to Kotelnik who won 13 of his 31 victories by KO/TKO. |

The bit about the 14 losses just about says it all....Corley is well and truly cooked, you could have stuck a fork in him when Witter beat him 4 years ago. Fact of the matter is that he has lost to some very average fighters and Maidana struggled like fuck with him, if you don't accept that then download the fight and see for yourself |

And I fully accept that he is shot and Maidana looked very poor. I watched it live. When did I say anything to the contrary? I called you out on the unfair comparison to Kotelnik you made. Corley has decent power, not a massive banger but he has a bit of pop. Kotelnik has hardly any power at all. |

Regardless of the match up I always purchase PPVs unless I'm unable.
I'm intrigued enough by Khan's continual development (thus far) under Roach to look forward to this one if it is signed. Interested to see whether he's added anymore variety or angles to his offense this time around. |
