Default Dec 11th PPV - who comes in?

Assuming Frank sticks with 7 televised fights and that Cleverley, Chisora, Brook, Macklin and DeGale are retained, who would you like added to the bill?

I'd like to see Burns in a first defence and Gavin v Woodhouse

Burns' 1st defence will be in Glasgow so you can count him out. Gavin and Mitchell will be the other 2 if this PPV goes aheaed.

I don't think Mitchell deserves/needs a spot given that it will be his comeback fight

In terms of title fights the possible fighters would be...

Burns (WBO SFW)
P.Smith (Brit SMW or higher)
Bellew (Comm LHW)
Gavin (Brit or Vacant Comm LWW)
Appleby (Vac Comm SFW)

For me its likley we see Smith and Bellew stay in Liverpool and Burns and Appleby stay in Glasgow where they can shift 5000 plus. Burns is almost confirmed for early december in Glasgow anyway.

That leaves Frankie Gavin who we could see fight Woodhouse, make it for the vacant Commonwealth as Oleguseun is fighting a WBC eliminator early November. If not make it a British title eliminator.

Then you could have Kevin Mitchell returning. Maybe for a minor title like IBF/WBO Intercontinental. You can say he shouldnt be on the PPV but he is still an attracton and would sell 2000+ tickets in London. If not maybe one of the Walsh brothers steps up to a title fight maybe Liam Walsh for a the vacant Commonwealth Super Featherweight or get him in with Lee McAllister at Lightweight.

Also you have to consider, if ****** is putting Brook, Chisora, Macklin, Cleverly and DeGale in bigger, and therefore more expensive fights. So he may not have the budget for 7 title fights or he may not have to as fans would be happy with 2/3 world title fights.

Guess allot depends on how well the PPV sales were. The LG wasn't a sell out either.

I'm shocked that it wasnt a sell out, was this mostly due to the returned tickets from Barker? I've heard he sold anywhere between 1500 and 4000

Barker had sold between 1500-2000 with 3 weeks to go so he would of added another 1000.

Macklin really isn't that big a draw.

Burns will fight in Glasgow, so no chance of that happening. No chance of Matthew Hatton fighting Kell Brook, I think ****** is banking on Pacman vacating and Brook fighting for the vacant title. Can see Mitchell being on the bill for some inter-continental strap even though he doesn't deserve to be on. Bellew wont be on as he sells too many tickets in Liverpool.

No chance of Mitchell and Rees fighting for the vacant British Rob?

Rees is next up for Murray provided Murray doesn't vacate.

Don't really understand why people don't want to see Mitchell. Get him back in there, give the bloke a chance.
