hmmm it`s been almost 2 months after fight with Delgado and still no names out or anything about Zaveck next fight...Paulie just had one and he is injued now..i guess Bailey is the only option here!?!

Zavek against R Bailey is a good guess, as R Bailey is fighting out of Europe. You have to give Randall credit for trying his luck in the tough European scene.
I notice you are from Slovenia. I have some friends moving to Slovenia, who although not interested in boxing were interested about Zavek as they are moving that way.

Even Bailey is not in his prime anymore he still could be a very good test for Zaveck. I think if Zaveck wins he would finaly get some respect from Americans (although they would again bitching Bailey is not good enought to prove anything).

Well that was a strange decision in 1st fight against Rafa...honestly Zaveck should of win that fight and that is why he wanted a rematch no matter what.

Looks like fight with Berto is close...wonder what Bailey is thinking right now? Also Cotto`s name mantioned as very potential opponent.

Berto or Cotto? Dont know who i would prefer..but at least there should be a big fight finally and we could all rate Zaveck after that.

A fight against either would be great. Berto is probably more beatable. Cotto would be the bigger fight though.

On September 3rd JAN ZAVECK vs ANDRE BERTO!

Very good fight for both of them. Jan wanted a big fight in USA with someone that has a "name" in WW and Berto got a chance to get a title back after a loss against Ortiz. I read on some paper an interview with Zaveck`s coach saying that he can`t wait that someone gets in open fight with Zavec as he will have a chance to show his power..I can see Berto fighting open and get open wunds...

I hope it wont be only on HBO and that it will be seen in our national television as well.

Honestly i saw a fight Berto-Ortiz which was great with great action...but the problem in Zaveck`s fights was noone really "open" himself during fight so noone knows how good he is comparing to American top WW...so it should be a great fight!!

Oh he would kill Senchenko...but the Ukrainian wont fight noone of top fighters as he just want to keep his title.

American fighters arent looking for title as much as for money! So forget Ortiz or Mayweather till Jan (if) win over Berto.

Berto accept the fight as he wants some title back..when he had his belt he refuse to fight Zaveck for unification..now he wants to fight with him!

And at the end...i will say one more thing...Zaveck wants to fight the best in the WW division not like many other guys that avoiding them..so he wanted that fight to happen...if he win i hope you guys will stop calling him "paper" champ and if he lose..he will retire! He is simple and hard working guy that wants to fight the best.
