No problems. I am guessing you dont have any amateur experience. Just from seeing this little bit of pad work I would suggest that you are not ready for a professional fight.
1st thing you should be working on are foot drills, I dont know how often you are doing them right now, but a quick glance at you and I can tell this is a major need. Your trainer should have you doing foot drills for 30 minutes 3x a week if you are a relatively new boxer. I see zero evidence of any professional level footwork and your angles are off. I dont see you pushing off the proper feet all the time. |

I'm going to agree with RightCross...you are not ready to fight.
The footwork is very clumsy and even the basic punching mechanics are just not there yet. |

I agree with what some posters are saying about you needing improvement, however, there is still the intagibles we don't get to see from this video. For example, Daniel Ponce De Leon and Mayorga come to mind, as fighters who were far less than impressive with technic, but made up for it in other areas. But from what we see, you definitely need some fine tuning in all areas. With that being said, we haven't actually seen you in action, it could be a different thing. Best of luck to you and stay hungry.

Damn... I'd like to see how goofy all of your lazy asses would look hitting the pads. I don't box, but I don't pretend to like most of you guys. It's not as though you could make any judgments on footwork, jabbing skills, or anything else based on a two minute video. Thanks for posting the video!

Ok, some constructive criticism man...
You need to put some snap in your punches, you're pushing them too much and they're telegraphed a touch. Everything has to be a lot crisper, straighter and you need to get into position because you're reaching. Tuck your elbows in, you're wide open and you'll get hurt man, so tighten up your stance. I would stand a touch more upright, you're a little too low IMHO man, and you're open for a nasty ass uppercut. Just look at Cotto, he uses that kinda style better than anyone else but always gets tagged up through the middle. But good stuff, good video, keep working hard and enjoy it
