Foreman was fighting at 45, was he not? Lewis will not come back. The reason he retired was his ego could not take a loss, which would have happened had he kept his word to re-match Vitali Klitschko.

I have a gut feling that Lewis has declined in his ability terribly by now. He would only tarnish his legendary status. |

Lewis is too old now. He took off too much time. The only thing he would have now is the right hand. If the right could hurt guys and knock them out he would do ok, but once it went a few rounds in a real fight his age would be a problem for him.

I think that Lewis could come back, and fare better than some people are giving him credit for. Lewis could still train hard, come back and beat fighters in the top 20 at the moment. I don't think he should..................but he COULD.
He would have lost speed, sharpness, stamina and his chin might be more fragile now. But Lewis always has size, strength, power, reach, self belief, experience, heart. Those have gone nowhere, and would be enough to account for most of the top 20 heavyweights of the moment. Remember that Lewis, even when he retired, was SO FAR AHEAD of most of the heavyweights (with the exception of Vitali). Things have changed, but he could still get in there and kick some arse
