5 or 6 if I can make it. Anyone starting out should be at the gym as much as possible. Practice makes permanent!

With my new trainer we do sparring drills everyday, <<<< it's light contact. We also work a lot on technique, after each round he gives us a talk and fixes what we did wrong; if we feel odd about it he finds away that would work better for us

sounds like a good trainer, so many are absolutely ****e imo! if you can only get to gym then shadowboxing for 125 minutes a day really thinking about what you are doing in front odf a mirror slowly and getting the technique right will work wonders.

Way better than my old trainer who made us do nothing but bag drills. My new trainer is a bit obsessed with mitts though xD

I like mitt work.

I am yet to increase my training sessions from 2 days to more because I want to.

I wanted to go out for a run today but I didn't since it is raining continously, I just hate the rain.

It's a huge turn off for me, the day looks so dull and I won't go for a run because of a previous injury to my ankle in the rain.

Really? Im retired now,but used to run 6days per week. Long runs hill runs and track work is all a part of the training. Facing better and better opponents makes training like thisl essential.

Mornings were for running and stretching routines.

Midday was for skipping and bag-work on your own for at least an hour.

Evening was club time and did whatever the trainer had in mind for an hour and a half.

anytime that you give to training is up to the individual to decide about.

If you train 3 times a week and your opponent trains 6 days a week, who do you think has the advantage over who?

I guess that's right..if you're not training, someone else is training to kick your ass...

You have to remember that rest is just as important as training.

Not really. I cycle more than he lifts to be honest, but the lifting he does would screw up the recovery I need from boxing practice.
