Personally I think bodyweight excercises are sufficient enough for boxing, lots of push ups, squats, pull ups (invest in a pull up bar), sit ups, crunches, maybe some curls if you have dumbells lying around...

Best fitness excercises for boxing though would be any sort of cardio, Id concentrate more of training cardio, running, interval sprints, swimming are much more important than any strength exercises, although you should do strength workouts at least once a week

One punch and I on another thread discussed this. If you want to weight train, do compound exercises 2-4 sets x 5 reps. Maybe 1 or 2 auxilary lifts per workout. Look at the help with weight training thread and use that workout by One punch for 2 days per week or mine for 3 days. Know that if you follow mine, you will want to cut back on your boxing training, which is probably a bad idea.

I agree with most of everything you said except for curls.

Leave them for the bodybuilders. Bicep curls have no place in strength training routines intended for boxers.

Yeah they are definately a very low priority, although a doing a couple of them wouldnt hurt, look at Devon Alexander!

I read somewhere that guys with bicep peaks like that are born and not made; but I'm not really sure if it's true.

You might want to also add rows (bent-over/cable) to the exercises you've already listed above. But you sound like you're on the right track. Keep in mind though that if boxing is your main focus, do not overdo the weightlifting.

For 'boxing fitness', I do mostly bodyweight stuff and usually in intervals of either 30 seconds or 1 minute, alternating exercises for 3 minutes. I also use tabatas 1-2 times per week. Pushups (wide, narrow, hindu), squats, burpees, mountain climbers, jumping jacks with medicine ball, sprinting in place, jumping lunges, etc. And don't forget about skipping - jump rope is still one of the best boxing fitness exercises you can do. I do these fitness routines on boxing workout days, but I also have days devoted strictly to strength training - shoulder presses, curls, dips, pullups, chest fly's, back fly's, skull crushers, deadlifts, olympic presses, etc.
