Just by getting rid of Maggette improves them. He is a black hole who does nothing except score. He doesn't care about winning.
I would disagree but we'll see how he does. I'm sure he'll put up decent numbers in Charlotte bc he will prob have to score 17-19 pts a game. Beal would have been nice for them. A backcourt of Kemba and Beal would be pretty dirty although who knows how good of a pg Kemba could potentially be (although I think he will eventually turn into a very good one)

It would surprise me if they amnesty Gordon bc at that point why not just keep Maggette since his contract is up at the end of the year anyway?

Evans is still a very young player in this league, under the right coach I think he can turn into one of elite SG's in the league

He has a problem with decision making and was moved to SF because Thorton was so good as SG. He could be a very good player, but he needs work.

Nash and Kobe would have been great 7 years ago. in 2012 that is a seniors team.

Maggette sucks. Beal is a potentially nice player, but I think Robinson will have a very good career. He's the same size as K-Love and is longer with more athleticism and a great feel for the game.

Just having team-oriented guys who will go out of their way to win will improve them. They don't need Beal. Geral Henderson is not a bad player. Charlotte's weakness is at SF and PF. A T-Rob and his relentless motor to Biyombo and BJ Mullens, and they have a decent frontcourt rotation. Adding Gordon gives them a decent backcourt, but I would try to trade Augustin for a decent SF

The old teams usually win the titles.

not that old. By next finals, Kobe and Nash are combined to be the age of 72. Durant and Westbrook equal 48.

Word is the Lakers might be interested in Mo Williams. He'd be a better fit than Sessions, and he would complement Kobe well.

Sessions is gone, so they have to look at replacing him anyway.

Sessions would be a good fit in Mike Woodson's system.

Why dosen't the NBA consider contraction?

These sorry teams getting ready to pick players they know they won't do right by. It's old.

Would make the league better...

NBAPA don't want it because it means loss of jobs.

Owners don't want it because it lessens the number of total games played and reduces their revenue.

Owners are crying poor as it is.

I think it would serve the greater good of basketball.

Look at the draft. There is only one player that everyone thinks will be a franchise player.

Used to be the first 10 picks were thought to change the look of your franchise. With less teams you narrow your focus and be even more critical because of whats at stake. What's at stake for Sacramento when they get Bradley Beal or whoever? Nothing.

The New CBA is in the league and owners favor too...
