I hate that people dog Humphries. He was just unfortunate to get caught up in the Kardashian BS.
He is a consistent rebounder so that in itself makes him worth between 6-8. He can run the floor and get easy dunks. Depending on my roster, I would pay him 7.

Not sure he has three years left playing at the level he was at post-ASG, but two? Or even a season and a half? I'll take it, and eat the cost of the rest as collateral damage if it doesn't pan out. Gladly.
That was Boston showing appreciation. Even as an old fart he impacts the game on defense at almost the same level as in his prime.

Yep. That's a lot of money to give a 36 year old.

Transitioning to the 5 role (which people ripped him for not doing in his prime) at his age and being damn effective at it, like a boss.

It just seems like it was more of a "you've had a great career so here you go" rather than this is what you are actually worth type of deal.

He'll probably return on the investment through about early 2014. I can't see him holding steady for the whole duration of the contract.

They said Boston wants OJ Mayo. I think KG said he will announce his decision by July 1st, so I guess tomorrow.

Boston, if Doc coaches like an elite coach instead of a good one, will have a chance to make a run next year.

Boston should have blown up the experiment. Get bad now to get very good a year down the road.

They believe they can beat the heat. At least Doc convinced Ainge. Thats the only reason I think they decided not to blow up the roster.

Oj Mayo is a free agent as well would be interesting to see how much he can get
Though he is a good player, when you consider the hype the guy had pre-college, one of the biggest underachivers in the game.

They pretty much are in transition phase right now. If Doc handles it right, they might have a seemless transition to the new guard in Boston.

If Atlanta had Sloan or McMillan we would probably see the same **** going on there, or atleast the trading of Marvin Williams and Joe Johnson.

It may be that he just needs more time on the court. His situation wasn't exactly the best in Memphis. If he's playing 35 min a game I'm sure he could average 20 pts a game. Someone will offer him 8-10 mil a year

What are the knicks going to do? Any takers for Amare? It is clear they cant play both him and Melo. They can be a threat if they get a sucker to bite. That dumb ass **** he pulled last season should not be forgiven.

Well the Nets are desperately looking for something to legitimize their efforts, if the Knicks would be willing to take a loss on the deal they could get something back for him.
