whether either team makes it to the playoffs, they will not win the ring that is for sure. Hard to believe in just 3 years the Lakers and Celtics have become so inconsistent. Yet if they play each other they have a good competitive game.

Obviously the Knicks would win this trade but that would make us worse. No thanks. We would average like 85 points a game as a team with both Dwight and Chandler unable to make a basket outside of 5 ft.

Drummond went for 16 pts and 7 boards in 20 minutes.

David Stern can't pull stunts anymore to insure LA and Boston always get the benefit of the doubt. This is small market year in the NBA. OKC, Memphis **** even Golden State are doing better while not having the big pockets and leverage as the other teams. Depending on what Memphis does with Gay will determine if they stay a top west team though.

early games today unless the scoreboard I follow is having a malfunction. Why so early? The inauguration or MLK day holiday? One of those two, since otherwise this is very early for games

The only thing that worries me about tonight is that we've stunk at home against bad teams. No way should we let the bum ass Lakers walk out of the Chi with a W!

The lakers aren't your typical scrub team who can pick up surprising wins against decent opposition. This laker team is special...

I looked up the lakers future schedule and figured they might go 25-17 in the last remaining games, which means they will have a record of 42-40. Is that good enough for the playoffs?
