Shooting woes.

Dishing Bradley and losing his perimeter D as a short-term offensive patch would be a stupid mistake, but I'll take Redick for Lee.

the thing about trades is you have to think about it first. if you cringe and say "well i-i-i-i don't know if i would do that". then now we're talking. in you guys case, any trade would have to have Jeff Green, Avery Bradley. can't be mr. preposterous trade maker...

I used to look forward to the Lakers playing, now I don't know . I really don't know what to think about tonights game against the Jazz. Kobe will start off shooting ok and then the Jazz will make it close by halftime and the Lakers will have to come from behind in the 4th quarter? That is the typical game lately. The Lakers almost have to get a big lead by the end of the 1st quarter and keep it to win the games. I think it is time to trade Gasol and take a chance. Even Howard. They cannot do much worse than this season I don't think. Work on the bench and stop trying to get superstar players.

I think the Celtics are a piece or two from being good, unlike the Lakers which need a whole overhaul. Either way the Lakers and Celtics are old and cannot compete for 48 minutes against young teams.

Boston can thank LA for one thing. They are responsible for them being in the 8th seed right now. Had LA not made that trade, Boston would probably be far back in 9th or 10th instead of 8th where they are ahead of both Philly and Orlando.

I don't think it is coach issue. Brown or Jackson or DAntoni will not help a team which has either older players or bad bench players.

This spreadsheet shows the most post ups in the league

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

(source is Synergy and was posted by a jazz reporter on twitter)

It shows Dwight Howard gets the second most post up touches in the league....yet still had the nerve to complain about touches

Dwight = A Joke

Mike ****ing Brown, who basically had this same roster except FISHER instead of Nash and BYNUM instead of Howard, got the lakers a top 4 seeding.

Its the coach. Its the coach. The players have played like garbage, kobe has been selfish, Howard has been shite but the BIGGEST problem is the ****ING coach

The last year or so has really shown the true colors of Dwight's character.

Not pretty stuff.

yea **** the fact that hes playing below par. Coz he IS coming off back surgery...but his attitude is just pure garbage. I mean i can't believe Andrew Bynum, who trolled the shite out of the lakers all season was less of a disruption!

He does not have a winners mentality or attitude.

Bynum was far more willing to cooperate with Gasol, rather than assume he's the only big on the floor anything should run through at all times.

The character issues aren't even new, dating back to when he was demanding out of Orlando...

He's gone from this lovably immature smiley man-child to a reprehensibly immature moaning prick.

something is missing this year. I don't see them as the same team. Kobe is old and Nash is old and Howard is hurt. MWP is old. It is just relative to a younger NBA now and Kobe and Nash are just past greats. How are they supposed to play like they did 15 years ago. On a stat sheet the numbers do not change as much as the energy on the floor. If you compare Kobe in 2000 to Kobe now and look at video it is huge difference. He was so quick then. I think the turnovers are a directly related to the Lakers age. A coach cannot change that, unless he can work something into the Lakers favor like Jackson did. but even Phil Jackson could not help this team. They need an overhaul I think. A big one and get some younger players. I am curious to see if Dwight (regardless of what team he goes to) gets back to how he was prior to his back surgery.

I agree with that. Dwight does seem like a guy who likes to have fun like Shaq did, but Shaq knew when to turn off the fun.
