Memphis should of snagged a 3pt shooter or two.. Now they still have size but no wing to create on his own and nobody to spread the defense.

I remember they took OKC to 7 games without Gay. I think they play better without Rudy. They still should have got another shooter in that trade.

hard to say they play better when he's their leading scorer. they were without him for much of that season and found a way. how do you go to your fan base and tell them that you're there to win, when you've just traded three good players including a near all-star level player in the last two weeks?

Wasn't the whole point of that trade is to get under the cap? Maybe that is what they their fan base.

LOL Rashad Lewis, Bosh, Cole, Allen and Anderson on the floor for the heat. That just shows how bad their bench is a bunch of old over the hill hasbeens.

Wow. The Memphis frontcourt just got much deeper with the addition of Davis, and I like Prince and Daye as defensive presences, but the perimeter shooting will be severely lacking now.

Agree, even if they acquired the biggest name. 1) Memphis, 2) Detroit, 3) Toronto IMO.

Calderon was their glue. They won't suddenly contend because of Gay. Retarded.
