That is a bullshit sentiment.
We are all baring witness to the future GOAT in his prime getting it done.

Lebron is NOT going to be the GOAT but we are witnessing a top 5 player of all time in my opinion.

Miami can't be beat if Lebron and Wade are playing this good. It's pretty much impossible.

Miami needs to look into trading Josh Smith for Bosh to Atlanta.

Serious question: where do you put greater emphasis when thinking about the GOAT, individual stats or postseason success?

Individual play and ability to improve team goes into my GOAT evaluation.
Post season and championship doesn't effect it, because teams win championships and determine playoff success.

No wonder you rank Wilt over Jordan then because Wilt's level of play declined big time in the post season unlike Jordan who rose his level of play in the playoffs. Wilt is top 3 all time and has the highest peak value in terms of scoring but Jordan's level of consistency trumps Wilt's and Lebron's. Lebron isn't even greater than Kareem so I don't know how you could rank Lebron over Jordan and Kareem. Jordan Kareem and Wilt are untouchable until further notice.

no a career is judged when it is done. People said Tyson was the greatest fighter of all time in 1987 and now he barely makes the top 10 as a heavyweight.

People were saying Jordan was the GOAT before he retired in 98. Actually when he retired after the first three peat.

probably not. Obviously the Thunder look like the only team to beat them, and maybe wear and tear after a long season.

Yeah also noticed the refs let the guys play a little more minus the dbl techs. Like that. I watch to see basketball not a damn free throw shooting contest.

Wade played marvelous today especially in 4th. I know he wont average 30 pts or Lebron but at least 22-6-4 and their fine. Its the unselfishness that keeps them strong as well as defense. Wade is the best SG in the game and has been for yrs as well as 3rd best defender at the position imho(Bradley,Iman).

Yeah true. GOAT is too open in basketball. Kareem, Russell, Wilt, Jordan, Oscar, Bird, Magic. Wont be touched.

After Lebron's career is over he's a lock for 8 or 9 spot though thats for certain.

Kareem has longevity, the fact that he was clowned by an old ass wilt on one leg tells you why I won't have him in my top 5 of

Wilt
Russell
Magic
LBJ
Jordan
(no particular order)

As for Wilt in the post season, you have to remember it was easy in the early part of Wilt's career for him to be ganged up on in the playoffs because his supporting cast was shit.

Kareem was never clowned by an old Wilt. Wilt played great defense on Kareem but look at the head to head numbers. That is BS and you know it. Kareem also has 6 league MVP's and has played better than Wilt in the post season.

Wilt, Russell, Magic, and Lebron over Jordan. The ONLY one I can understand is Wilt.

Whatever man. Even Wilt himself said he has no problems being criticized about his post season play. Don't act like other players in league history never had a shit supporting cast. Jordan was averaging over 40 against arguably the best team in league history when he had a shit team.

1.Jordan
2.Kareem
3.Wilt
4.Magic
5.Bird
