Cleveland Williams is presently buried in an unmarked grave to the left handside here on another family plot - hopefully someone can get him a marked gravestone in there soon - very very sad

RSN.. Good call mate. Too much attention is payed to the fights; blood, sweat & tears. Not enough to the person.

On a positive note, Les Darcy's family vault is in the midst of being completely restored. Necessary funds have been sitting in a Council account for a while now. The wait shall be worth while.

Great news Bobby Les Darcy was a real folk hero - I hope something gets done for Cleve too - you'd think someone in the boxing community would've known the guy - he must've had some connections - seems strange that he wasn't even buried with or at least near to his own family members

That's the saddest part mate. The man was a wrecking ball when on-song, yet he rests in what must be a numbered plot, or a grave with no stand out features. A few thousand $$$ would see a more appropriate setting. A nice headstone for starters, atleast.

I'm suprised there is not a small army of fans in the USA who dedicate much of their time to this kind of effort. FFS!! Darcy's vault is close to US$80,000... That money raised in very short time. I also hope to see the Big Cat shown some posthumous respects... SOON!!
