Heavyweight boxer Johnny Shkor of Boston hits the canvas for a count of nine during his 10-round exhibition fight with retired heavyweight champ Joe Louis at the Boston Garden, Nov. 14. Showing flashes of his old form, Louis won the "newspaper decision." This was the first of a series of 10-round exhibition bouts the 35-year-old bomber will make.
