I'm pretty sure I see the top half of Liston's face in the 2nd row between Louis and Robinson. I have to admit, I never realized Abe Attell was that small until I saw him in this picture.

agree with 12 of them, thanks mr B. I think that might not be Robinson, he is a bit too tall, I notice he and sonny are dressed to fight, maybe it is Miami and this is Cleveland big cat Williams? he looks taller than old joe Louis but does have the same straightened slicked hair as Robinson and the big cat.

Yes I did attend fights at the Olympic in the late '40's. the first live fight I attended as a ten year old kid was in '46', that was the first Ike Williams v Enrique Bolanos fight. Yes I do remember Jimmy McDaniels, but don't remember much of him though...

Yesk McDaniels was a tough Irishman out of Caifornia. He did well on the East coast until he met the magnicient prime Ray Robinson at MSG in 1945.
I saw that bout with my dad and Robinson flattened Jimmy in 2 rds.

Both Liston and the last guy are in fighting togs.
If it is the Olympic,[I would not know]and a real fight took place between them the other guy is Billy Joiner,as Liston only fought there once, and Joiner was his opponent.
