Jess Willard's Traning Camp 1914

The Jack Johnson v. Jess Willard fight was originally scheduled to take place in Mexico early in 1915 and as a result Willard's training camp was set up in Texas. The fight was later postponed due to political unrest in Mexico and re-scheduled and moved to Cuba.

Tom Jones, Willard's manager, is viewed standing outside the ropes to the viewer's right.

he's jewish, and round about the first world war, so that should narrow it down abit. it's hard to determine his size, but as fighters fought more less at their natural weight this guy looks round about Lightweight to welter, he could be smaller though.



try this Pat O'Keef, Middleweight (???). I thing it is him same nose forsure.
