Default Best boxing city in UK and Ireland

What city in the UK or Ireland produces the best boxers. After the recent commonwealths I would have to say Belfast with 2 gold medal winners and 2 silver medal winners hailing from the city and a 3rd gold medal winner (O'Kane) training there, along with pros like Frampton, Lindsay, Conlon, and Rogan and previous world champions like Wayne McCullough and Riny Monagahan there seems to be and endless amount of talent coming from the city and a city of just a half a million people also .

Ryan Burnett current youth olympic light-fly champion is from Belafst aswel .

your thoughts ???

Just to say, honestly not being funny, just bigging up the midlands: London isn't a city, Birmingham is England's biggest City.

There's the City of London, but it has a population of about 8000.

Manchester, as its the only town where I have seen Hatton, Calzaghe, Haye , and figters from Ireland , Liverpool ,Birmingham , Glasgow all get great receptions.

Obviously Belfast has done well, but winning a few Commonwealth golds is a bit of a push to class it as the best city.

London has produced the highest amount of top drawer fighters, but it is huge and for hosting and supporting big fights and on the p4p scale not so much.

Manchester hosts fights very well and like others have said has shown big support for fighters from all over.

In the past few years you have had Michael Gomez, Ricky Hatton, Jamie Moore, Michael Jennings, John Murray, Steve Foster Jr, Tyson Fury, Matthew Hall, Anthony Farnell (and now a great trainer) and if you include Greater Manchester then Amir Khan can be included too.
