Great fight for Geale, Karmazin is no mug, home ground advantage and Geale's improving class should see him edge the aging Russian on points.....

Geale should take it,most rounds will be close and with it been in australia he'll take them. But as Karmazin showed against Miranda,he'll be there all night,he won't let anyone coast to a points win against him. Couple of things i think Geale does badly and i hope he doesn't on sunday. Leaves himself wide open when he throws the left because he lunges in with it,tends to throw it also as a singular shot and not behind the jab. He has to back Karmazin up, Karmazin hasn't a clue on the backfoot and cant fight going back. But then again does Geale have the power to take centre of the ring and dictate pace, probably not. Intersting fight.

You raise some interesting points there BLH , I see by the poll some think RK can't win on points down under but surly Aussie boxing ain't that bent that an overseas fighter has to spark his opponent to win ? I still fancy Roman by late TKO(despite me hitting the wrong button i'n the poll ) lol Geale will realise the difference i'n this fight between the level of fighters in the IBO and the IBF , where is Marcus etc ? No one seems as vocal as Ash and Sox in the build up to this fight , why is that ? Geale is a cracking fighter IMO who shows heart alongside a dedicated desire to succeed , but will lose IMO Ash and Sox come on admit it you are tipping Daniel out of nationalist pride .

I know its going back a while and it was in the vests, but i watched Geale against Leonard Bundu earlier in the Sydney olympics and i'll tell ya Geale has some really good skills when he decides to use them. Tends to rush in a bit lately without thinking.

Like Geale and will go for him in a close one,if Geale had a BIG punch somewhere in his artillery he would be a much more dangerous opponent against anyone I reckon.!!!!

I like Geale because he shows some real boxing science, and he improves with every fight. He's as humble and decent as the girl next door. ![]() If he started to play the same games that 2 other well known OZ fighters do, then I would find it difficult to continue to support him. Geale is the next big thing in OZ, you can count on it. |

think made in hell wins this, be a tough hard fight, but i think geale getting dropped a couple times from nothing punches (mandy left hook was soft) make me think roman can really hurt him, but im hope geale wins..
