He turned it down because he got $2.8 million the fight before for Rahman.

He got $1.1 million for facing Peter in his WBC title elimenator!!

It astounds me that anyone would pay to see Wlad - Chisora but that's just my opinion, I can't argue the fact it will sell good.
If managers or promoters are reading this, I'm sure they're laughing at the ignorance...

3 fight deals or (options on 3 fights) for non-mandatories is common practice.

What isn't common is to specify which boxer a guy will need to face in the third fight of the deal, besides the initial fight and the rematch.

My point was even with options they never control EVERY aspect which is what K2 are doing, having complete control over every aspect of what a fighter does for 3 fights is setting a precedent.
For example in order for Haye to fight Valuev didn't Sauderland/King get options on opponent ONLY for 3 fights, not the venue or extras.

the lawyers do the work. The brothers know the dollar amounts and some things...but not as much as you guys think.

I usually get the final contract and bout agreements sent to me at camp for wlad to sign and I know wlad is not in the talks once camp starts....

Chef when you get back answer this please.
Toney got paid $2.8 million for Rahman then got offered $1.5 million to face Klitschko.

Does that sound fair to you?

“Like I said, the politics and business of boxing, it was a great time in my boxing career to win the title but then I had to go with the business and politics of boxing. Really, if you’re not at the top level and going through stuff, you really don’t know what’s going on behind the backdoor with negotiating and how they plan and want to put people in certain situations. It wasn’t for me to be WBO champion at that time, so of course, from the fight with Vitali to Wladimir there was so much negotiating that was going on that was terrible. It wasn’t in my favor and they forced me to fight Wladimir in my very next fight. It wasn’t really deserved, I don’t think and I waited. He had two fights and an exhibition in that whole time. They wouldn’t allow me to have an exhibition or do nothing. I mean, he had an exhibition like three weeks before we fought and I’m like, ‘This is crazy’. But the Germans were the lead promoters and that’s their fighter, and when you understand what goes on, like I said with the business side and the business decisions, which favors the Germans so I was told I still have to fight. I go in and fight, he beat me really bad—I mean it was bad. More power to him.”

Forgeting something. All promotional costs, costs for opp, press costs and promo costs are covered 100% by the Klitschko's. Wake the f**k up people! So they cover less and pay more! How do you want it? ANSWER!

If you're a promoter the cost of promotion is on your shoulders, what are you getting it?

Be quiet you fool. If people are claiming Don King, Bob Arum etc have had as many complaints from one division from 12 fighters over 10 years I have every right to ask them to justify their claims.
