Mundine wld be lucky 2 survive 5rds with JC.

I always loved how Mundine said Kessler was no1 and he was proud of how close he was in the first fight etc and said "i will be much better and will beat him in a rematch"

Calzaghe is a great boxer...too bad he is a poor Champion.

I have emailed Mundine's website and suggested he played DONT CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA for his next bout..

I also concluded by asking him how he felt watching the MASSIVE FIGHT today.

Should be interesting to see if i get a reply..

Calzaghe can be beat and Kessler showed how to do this. Kessler was not as fit as Calzaghe and had a lower work rate - fix these two variables and Calzaghe will be beaten

You are wrong

Having a good work rate is not all about fitness.............. it has something to do with talent as well mate.

Kessler's had over 40 fights and 28yrs old....he also looked great physically......no excuses

Calzaghe is a better fighter......even at 35yrs old

Granted work rate is also a function of seeing and capitalising on opportunities but Calzaghe can be hit with an overhand right and Kessler did not open up enough and I think that reflect a state of mind and also a factor of conditioning

It was more than that nrgetic - Kessler had a lower workrate because Calzaghe shut him down, not because he wasn't fit enough - those body shots early in the fight slowed Kessler down, and Calzaghe's constant pressure and speed prevented Kessler from ever getting into his rythmn.

Kessler was succeeding with his jab early, and Calzaghe negated it. Then Kessler was getting plenty of overhand rights on JC, and they were then taken out of the equation. Kessler's uppercut looked to be the punch he would win the fight with, but Joe figured out how to negate that too.

True, but Kessler had used up a lot of nervous energy from fighting in such a hostile environment.
