not that i'm one to gossip - BUT.......
i heard he fell out with Ray Giles and has retired. i dont know if this is true or if it was the reason for the fall out but my mail is a fight with Gairy St Clair fell thru, the promoter wanted Lance to take even a little 6 rounder just to keep him on the card to sell tickets - Ray pushed Lance to do the right thing by the promoter and Lance straight up refused - the whole Ray is like my father thing went out the window and he's chucked it in. has anyone got a different story or version? |

It's interesting how so many fighters get up after a win and say 'my trainer is like a father to me.....' and then split with them a month later, and speak badly of them forever after. A prime example is Jeff Fenech with Johnny Lewis, but there's a million of 'em. |
