The way some people carry on in these forums and bitch about everything really sickens me. No matter how the fight went the haters were always going to hate.
My opinion which is worth fark all. but hey. Green had a game plan. he put it into place. That game plan was so good it defeated BJ Flores from the very start. Flores is a good fighter. He moved well. Good size, good reach but all that was negated by Greens sit and wait approach while still being active While most douche bags here expect Green to charge into the ring with a clearly bigger and undefeated fighter and throw down and turn it into a chance match of who doesn't get put to sleep from a flashing blow. I personally really enjoyed seeing a game plan so effectively implemented. Flores had no answer. Unlike the big mouths here BJ Flores new that charging in on green would result in almost instant death via fractured skull. For the people who keep saying well if Green couldn't finish Flores how could he beat other top ranked cruiser weights. Well the answer is. If your a competent boxer of course.... You have more chance of been beaten via ko rather than a decision by green if you go toe to toe and force the fight. Because than the big power of green comes into effect. Whereas BJ avoided the power and green didnt feel like he had to risk opening himself up to throw it because he was winning the fight. I like a knock out but i enjoyed tonight. |

well I was in a rowdy pub and I didn't try to count punches....but I was thinkin' that Green was doin' just enough to lose...I was actually shocked that he won...the fight was as borin' as bat shit I reckon...Green has gotta go back too lightheavy...decrease the quality of his opposition...like fight a few Aussie domestic guys...all at Challenge Stadium...and close out his career that way...forget about top echelon fighters.

I thought Green won the fight comfortably, and scored it the same as one judge did, 118 - 110.
But, it was relatively boring in that Green stuck to his gameplan, mainly because he needed to as he couldn't really make a dent in BJ. And BJ simply wasn't active enough, which was either to do with being hesitant of being belted by Green, or he just thought he's doing enough. BJ appeared to be a slightly more skilled fighter than Green, just not active enough. Not a bad fight, but I'd have to agree with the OP, Green has no place at CW. |

I agree Green doesn't belong at CW.
His CW title is bogus, and last night was his first genuine contest at CW. I didn't see the fight but from the RxR on here it was a fairly tentative affair from both fighters. I'd like to see him come back down to LHW. |

![]() IMO I didnt think the the fight was as wide as 118-110 more like 116-112...but still a great win for Green. The only shame is Flores never let his hands go as that would have made it a great fight....dont need to see a KO but more wiling exchanges from Flores would have made it interesting. |

If Flores let his hands go he would of won Ash. As limited as his offense was it still had Green on the backfoot for most of the fight. And Camerons performance..........well he will get murdered by Green.

Flores was big, fast, had power as well as some great tools - lightning left hook and a very quick jab.
Danny COMPLETELY shut him down in every single way. This to me is a sign that Green CAN handle cruisers with the right game plan. He had a bigger, taller, faster, undefeated Cruiserweight intimidated and scared to fight for a whole 12 rounds in a real Cruiser fight - that says to me he does have what it takes. Sure there are better fighters at Cruiser out there than Flores, but Green was so effective we saw Flores had everything required to win and Green shut it all down. |

cameron is flat out terrible at cruiser, he threw combinations to the body and then the left hook looked ok, but that right hand he was throwing was shocking all night, and hes got no power to hurt anybody at cruiser and shouldnt be going anywhere near a fight with green on an average performance
