Whose worse the meatheads who act tough or the kids who buy it at a hot topic or spencers and know nothing about it

in HS my one friend trained and sparred and had aspirations to fight and this was around the time tapout was starting to be sold in stores and he went in and bitched out the manager it was funny, he didnt fit the meathead category

i myself used to wrestle and was a lot more into UFC b4 it got mainstreamed (not the reason i dont watch as much) and i never owned Tapout and thought those types of ppl were those fake tough guys like guidos and frat boys who rely on being loud and hunting in packs

I see very few people (even younger guys) wearing these skull shirts anymore. I think it was a fad and has largely played itself out. Tapout and Affliction are now common in discount stores like Marshall's, Ross, TJ Max, etc. They used to be $40 apiece and now sell for $5 to $10 on the clearance racks. It was an ugly fad and I'm glad it seems to be dying out.

i still see douche bags wearing them....i dont know if affliction is that cheap now is it?

nah its tapout that is cheap now, hoodies for 20 euro, t's for 5 to 10 euro, shorts for a tenner

yeah, i think tap out decided to go for mass volume rather than high profit per unit.

they use to have mostly better graffic design shirts, now they went to cheaper types that they sell in walmart and the dollar stores. at first they still had the expensive shirts for sell as well, but i think those lost there marketability.

I wrestled in college so I have a bit of interest in UFC. However, I like boxing because I find it's more fun and more aesthetically pleasing to watch. Always hated the training involved with wrestling. With boxing, the training is a lot more fun.

I hate their logo and all but otherwise Tapout seems to be a quality brand in terms of the materials they use. I never bought any of their stuff but their shorts are on par with anything Adidas, Underarmour, etc. puts out. Their workout shirts use the same lycra stuff Under Armour uses so with the discount prices in stores like Ross, Marshall's, etc. you are getting value for what you pay. These items would be way more expensive on Tapout's site or MMA Wearhouse for example.

Affliction along with the brand Extreme Coutere can be found many times very cheaply at your local Sam's Club, BJ's, Costco, etc. What used to be so 'cutting edge' is now positively ordinary and mundane. These Affiction shirts were about $14.99 apeace whereas the Coutere brand was slightly less.
