Thought i would set up a thread for people to post any inside knowledge or updates on whether a TV deal has been struck.
Adam Booth is quoted as saying its been discussed with Sky and Setanta, and Haye has said its up to Don King. I feel that both stations will want to show it, but Sky may have blown there cash on Mayweather vs Hatton. I can see the fight at least getting streamed? Any other ways of seeing the fight other than buying tickets please let us know! Haye K.O 2 by the way! |

Its all been a bit low key. Surprised the tickets for the actual fight itself have only gone on sale today.
Hopefully something will be announced for UK viewers as american fans will get to see it - apparently the MSG network will have live coverage in the US. On another note, there are suggestions Haye is having a hard time getting down to the 200 pound limit for this fight so I hope hes not too weight drained come Nov 10th. |

"With 19 days to go to fight night, Haye weighs 205 lbs - just five pounds over the division limit of 200lbs. When I spoke to Haye towards the end of July, two months before the original date of 28 September, he was more than two stones over and grimaced at the thought of having to shift the excess"

Then he's not having serious problems. That's a totally normal story for a boxer. He could be 205 on 9th November and dehydrate off five pounds easily.
205 at this stage would be a problem... IF the bout was 20 years ago and being fought under the 190 limit. |

Please God let Haye-Mormeck be on Setanta. In one night, one the same channel, we could then have Cotto-Mosley, Haye-Mormeck & then possibly some undercard bouts.
What a night that would be? No missing that one, that's for sure! |

It doesn't look like its going to be on British TV. I know its not much consolation but it should be on Radio Five though! |

Think it has been offered to Sky and Setanta but not taken up. Last edited by Marciano Frazier; 08-21-2006 at 09:29 PM. |
