He was being interviewed & he was sitting on the arm of his couch with all the belts he has won on the seats of his couch. I didnt catch the whole interview, but once again Joe was talking about being bullied at school.
The presenter was asking him questions about it & Joe was a bit uncomfortable, but I have to take my hat off to Calzaghe for admitting he got bullied as a youngster. That takes as much balls IMO as winning a world title. Its great to see Joe proving that you can overcome ****ers who try to take you down in life. Between Joe Calzaghe beating the bullies to become a british legend & reading about fellow ESB'er Stuey climbing back into the ring with a pacemaker attached, its enough to bring a tear to the eye of this scotsman! So before I do, Im offski. Catch you all next time Im on. |

Exactly. us scots have our own unique way of looking at life that only fellow scots can understand... & of course, Im only human. When I have had a few tumblers of wine, I can get a bit emotional. & yesterday, reading about posters coming back from adversity, hearing Joe talk about the shit he had to go through as a kid to get to where he is now... Im not ashamed to admit it tugged on the old heart strings a bit. |
