His mother's mother tongue, as far as I know, is English.

He was educated in England (went to school there) and lived in London.

Kalle Sauerland grew up in some posh London neighborhood going to private schools and loves to hang out at St. Tropez in the summer eating lobster and sipping on some chilled Gewurztraminer.

Why this guy is in boxing is beyond me. Obviously it's not the passion for the sport. Just easy $$$ for them, just like his father Wilfried "Nazi General" Sauerland.
