They were having him on 5 Live as well but I missed as had to get train.

They seem to have picked up the fight and he's had quite a lot of coverage, is that because of good promotion or simply having a good story?

Mick Hennessey you need to get a DVD of Carl's last 5 fights (fast forward the Dirrell one though) and force Adam Smith to explain to you why Sky - as the leading sports broadcaster in the UK - didn't show them and what sort of customer response they would have got not just from hardcore boxing fans but from your casuals.

Would be great to see on terrestrial but they aren't showing any fights so not much point in pushing to BBC and ITV.

He came off pretty well, short but gave a good brief insight of the fight and his motivation and achievment.

Cheers Jim, the only way he'll get more airtime on BBC news is to go on Strictly Come Dancing which they cover incessantly as if the people who don't watch it give a ****.
