Its a real shame that Sherrington v Hamdam is not on Fox Sport i hink we would all like to see this one on Fox and the ding a ling man vs Leapai is an interesting fight to . I wonder how come they arnt televising this one?

they give out the tv dates before the year i believe and its the promoters job to match the card, this def should of been on fox, very disappointing there coverage of this sport

I've said it hundreds of times before on here, but Fox and Main Events' coverage of boxing is woeful. It's actually gone BACKWARDS in a BIG BIG way over the years. It's a shame OptusVision bit the dust, because when they were both around, boxing coverage was at its best in this country.

I have said this in many other threads also but if FOX want to get serious & show better coverage they need to stop handing out dates to promoters.
They should instead be handing out dates purely based on a quality main event &/or a quality final 2-3 bouts.
I wouldnt mind them only showing 10-12 cards per year instead of 15 if it meant a higher quality product.
Boxing cards on FOX like the 1 put on last week were pathetic to be televised.

Last week's may not have been much but fucking hell, the Wyong show the other week (Angelo Hyder's card) was also a disgrace. A bloke fought bare bloody foot as his boots kept slipping.

How do people think that is professional. Jimmy Sharman's modern day version!!!

Doubtful, FOX have dug their own hole with this.
Also i have heard numerous figures thrown around with how much $$$ FOX gives the promoter towards a card.
I have heard some cards get as little as 7k, others near 20k which means the card is surviving purely on sponsorship & live gate.
Thursday Nights werent a good idea either as its a hard sell to a live gate.

agree so disappointing the fight is not on fox Leapai V Wilson,Hamden V Sherrington,Sattler V Fowler,Szigeti V Williams & other charity fights on the card not happy good luck to Leapai only international fight.
