Sauerland seems to push for Dimitrenko -fight.

Sauerlands promoter Wilfried Sauerland said - "I did not want this fight [with Sam Peter], but matchmaker Hagen Doering and trainer Ulli Wegner persuaded me to put Peter is against Helenius. We want to build Robert the right way. He is still young, and we have time. Next, we would like to go after the European Championship held by Dimitrenko. Robert's chances to win are very good."

I hope they get a match arranged. Doubts, if Dimitrenko wants that fight?

So Helenius is going for the EBU belt (and a title shot after that whenever he's ready).

Pulev is reportedly fighting Ray Austin for a high WBC ranking ahead of Vitali's prospective retirement.

So what is the plan for Povetkin?

If there is someone to grab those IBF/WBO belts its Povetkin, not Helenius.

This would be great. Helenius would wipe Dimi out and everyone would really have to take notice.

I always like Dimi, but Helenius matches his strenghts of size and power, whereas Robert has a better jab, stamina, amatuer background, and especially chin.

How many times was he stopped in the amateurs? Didn't Timurziev, Povetkin and Romanchuk all stop him?

Not trying to crap on him, just curious...
