Sonny Liston probably shouldnt be in your list ash. He was a big power oaf, but his acheivements hardly match up to the rest of the list. His most notable win was against patterson, who lost to some swede and also got cleaned up by Ali later.

Vit Klit has probably done more...

I disagree. Liston has two knockout wins over a hall of famer in Floyd Patterson and beat top contenders Cleveland Williams (twice) Eddie Machen and Zora Folley. Even in the twilight of his career he was still good enough to whip Chuck Wepner.

Yep....just doing the Sam Langford thing on the General Forum.....the question was how can a guy with 40 "Ls" on the record be an ATG

I was trying to say he was a SMW fighting at HW on short notice....maybe jump in Ippy and let them know the deal
