Agreed. I love Brown's old school methods. Slap the little cunts in the face. Only way they will learn is through physical pain. If that don't work punch them in the face. **** the naughty corner bullshit.

Steve Price is pretty ordinary, I don't know what they were thinking by appointing him

Why is bellamy saying that the next contract he signs will be his last? Still very young and could stay around for at least another decade.

Because he works 80 hours a week. His family does not live in Melbourne and he does not want to die of heart attack. Look at him in the box.

I think it's a bit strange that some people don't want Johns as an immortal due to recreational drug taking considering one of the already named immortals was a bona fide pimp.

Every coach goes through the same. I guess it's worse for him though with the constant though of whether the club is cheating the cap again, etc. But he still should suck it in.

A lot of money for him to pass up.

That's true too (of the last 20 years at least).

Quote:
GRAEME Langlands and Johnny Raper are icons of the game, so they've earned the right ahead of anyone to voice their opinion about who should join them as the next Immortal.

And they are adamant that footballer should not be Andrew Johns because of his spectacular revelation four years ago that he took recreational drugs during his stellar career.

We can reveal the Dragons legends made passionate cases against Johns when 14 of the 18 judges met on Wednesday over lunch at a salubrious Hunters Hill restaurant.

While they have no issue with Joey as a man, and certainly not as a footballer, they believe it would send a terrible message if he was announced as the eighth Immortal at a Men of League function in grand final week.

Their stance flies in the face of the direction of Rugby League Week that off-field behaviour has no bearing on the voting.

It is for that reason that fellow Immortal Bob Fulton believes Johns must be the inducted.

Chang and Chook believe otherwise, and both apparently spoke strongly against Johns as the next addition to rugby league's most exclusive club.

Langlands, Raper and Johns were all contacted for comment last night. All declined.

We understand the issue is very sensitive and we're treading lightly around it because judges in the room agreed what was said in the meeting would stay in the meeting.

Even colleague Phil Rothfield, one of the judges, has refused to confirm there was debate over Johns, let alone what was said.

But it was unrealistic to think elements of the meeting would not inadvertently leak out.
