Did Fury ever receive an offer to fight Alex ?
Yes he did get an offer both formal and was also called out old fashon way in an open challenge on boxing sites...

The offer was Alex will go to Tysons town and fight him on short notice the day the Botha fight fell over....no reply was sent back at all....from anybody.

it would be too risky at this stage for fury to fight alex imo.

Maybe the Brazilian bloke was cheaper mate , how much did Alex want ? And the old fashion way to call out a fighter is face to face not over the Internet , I see size and ko ratio alongside the WBO Latin title playing it's part also in team fury's decision , you were the one claiming these intercontinental bullshit titles held more prestige than Commonwealth and European titles so can't really have a whinge when a bloke attempts to fight a bloke with one as opposed to fighting one without Ash .

I know but what would Alex gain beating a 13 fight rookie ? Publicity ..ok I agree but maybe Fury's team wanted an opponent not 9 " shorter , you can look bad v a dangerous guy like Alex even if he did win . IMO Ipp it was probably too little gain for too much risk .

I agree. I think Alex is just trying to gain himself a decent fight. Can't blame the lad, he genuinely wants to test himself.

I agree mate Alex looks like he needs to get a move on and can't fault the man but the feeling I get from reading this thread is that Fury's ducking Alex when all he has done is take the better option FOR HIM , you know the score Ipp .
