I would also prefer Braehmer to get a shot at Bute, but he probably prefers going against the winner of Pascal v. Miranda. |

So assuming Calzaghe moves to LHW, the landscape will be: WBA: Mundine IBF: Bute WBC (vacant): Carl Froch vs Denis Inkin WBO (vacant): ??? vs ??? (Braehmer currently ranked no1) Do I have that correct? |

WBA and possibly even WBC might rate Kessler in there, somewhere; woudn't be surprised if he was involved in an eliminator or a title shot - but the odds are long on that. Still, Kessler as WBA champ would make them more money than Mundine... IBF: Bute optional against (??) Sanavia if he beats Haussler, then optional against Andrade, most likely, or possibly, Lacy, and then, mandatory against winner of Tsypko v. Stieglitz. Please correct me, if I am wrong. |

Fascinating stuff. And don't forget that we'll have Pavlik vs Taylor at 166 too. Some great fights in the pipeline. Throw in a few randoms like Bika and 168 is looking good in the next few years.

Pascal confirmed this morning in the local newspaper in Montreal that he will fight on Dec. 7 in Montreal (undercard of Alcine optional defense) and then in Florida on Jan. 11 on the same card as Miranda. HBO should broadcast the event. Pascal needs US exposure before facing Miranda next Summer. There, what about an eliminator against Braehmer? Could it be next Spring? Don't know! |

Sounds as if at least one of Pascal's fights will be easy...maybe even both - maybe he is just trying to keep his name on everyone'slips. On the 9th of November, Pascal was second after Braehmer in the WBO rankings, in front of Inkin, Bute and Froch...I am not sure whether those rankings are still current thought...who knows...Pascal may get an eliminator spot against Braehmer straight away!

In post-interview after his lost against Bute, Berrio that it was probably his last fight. He got seriously KOed and I think it turned on some lights in his head after being turned off |
