How do you guys think this fight would play out?
It would be interesting to see Pea deal with Mosleys speed, strength, and output.. It would also be interesting to see Mosley deal with Peas jab, and head movement of course..Mosley had trouble with long, stiff jabs, Peas was strong, but i dont think it was long, and powerful enough to keep Mosley off for very long.. It could win him a couple rounds, but i cxouldnt see him controlling the fight with it.. |

Mosley would be the fastest fighter Whitaker ever faced at welterweight. As quick as Whitaker was after moving to 147lbs, Mosley was even quicker with his hands.
Whitaker would not to be firing on all cylinders to pull out a decision over Mosley, thats for sure. The early welterweight Whitaker prime from around 1993-1994, not the version who nearly lost to Rivera and struggled with Hurtado. Whitaker's reflexes would need to be as sharp as a razor to deal with Mosley's scary handspeed. Its a tough call, but I'd take Whitaker via close decision. |
