Default Dana White

"If we are in a boxing match my goal is to hit you so hard that I knock you unconscious or I hit you in the head more times than you hit me in the head. That's how it went. These guys in the UFC can go to the ground. Another big thing is the tapout. If a fighter gets into a bad position and knows that he is hurt he can tap out. In boxing, look at Roberto Duran, he quit on the stool against "Sugar" Ray Leonard and was ridiculed."

The above are his words from a transcript from Sports Unfiltered. Why does this prick ALWAYS find it neccesary to bash boxing to give the UFC some kudos?

I see the point Dana is making here, but I agree with its time to get off of boxings back.

Too bad he's too much of an idiot to know that Duran quit in the middle of a round, not on the stool.

What point? The last time i looked when Liddell KO`ed Couture he was out cold. He doesnt have a point. His always trying to find some form of leverage and has to diss boxing in order to give the UFC some legitmacy. The mans an idiot.

Dana White is a failed boxer (had some amateur bouts but was going nowhere fast) and a failed boxing manager (tried to break into the business but again was SMALL TIME). He basically used his child friendship with the Fertita brothers to get on board with the UFC and has had a raging inferiority complex in regards to boxing ever since.

The UFC ship is sinking.

Dana trained as a Boxer when he was younger and now shit's all over the sport to push his own agenda.

UFC fights end in random KO's arm bars and rear naked chokes. What happened to all the other submission moves that are possible? It seems thses guys claim to be great grapplers yet only seemto know 2 submission moves.

**** the UFC.
