Default The 2 judges that had Pac winning against JMM (2) gave him the 6th. Would you have?

Forget about the other rounds, forget about the knockdowns, forget about who you think won.

There are many close rounds between these two fighters in their two epic battles, but there are numerous rounds which are clear for each fighter. While some of us may disagree with a few other rounds on the cards shown above (and inevitably the outcome), focus on the sixth. It intrigues me, having watched Pacquiao VS Marquez 2 many times, that two of the judges-the two that had Pacquiao winning in the final Split Decision- gave Pacquiao the sixth round, which is a round I thought Marquez clearly won on harder cleaner and more numerous punches.

My question to you is, irrelevant of all other aspects of the fight, would you side with these two judges in giving Pacquiao the sixth, or do you think that it is clearly a Marquez round? (Or close enough for either?)

This link should start the fight right at round 6.

I see. The thing is, I'm trying not to draw attention to any aspect of the fight outside of the sixth round, including who "should have won." I want to know if people give Pacquiao the sixth as the two judges who gave him the fight did.

Beware.......this thread will be taken over by crazed, not looking for debate Pactards, before any real rational debate can even commence.

We can just end this thread right now by saying "JMM kissed canvas!"

It was a close round and could have easily been scored even

Marquez could have won based on some quality counterpunching

Pacquiao could have won based on being the busier fighter

whats your point OP?

Marquez clearly won many of the rounds that judges somehow gave to pacquiao... maybe they quickly arranged their cards to favor pac and chose any round LOL...

That round was clearly for JMM and Pac was getting outboxed and JMM landed the much harder and crisper shots.

Those 2 fights are 2 of my most favorites fights ever... I can't count how many times i've watched them.

they are 2 very close fights, and they both brought out the best in each other.

fairly sure that was jmm's round, more effective punching, controlled the ring better. Pac was busier but that's about it

rewatched it...gave it to marquez ever so slightly...

close fight....blame it on marquez...got careless and went down...

and marquez cant put pac down and knock him out or just even dominate him completely....just goes to show jmm is not a level above pac (maybe even?)...

so stop crying over a close close fight...it could have gone either way....

Lampley called it, "Marquez CLEARLY won that round"

JMM counter punched beautifully in that round and won it easily in my opinion, that round wasn't even close. He won the 5th too, which is kinda how the first fight went. Further more, it's kinda how most of Marquez's fights unfold. he hits canvas, then gets up to outbox the opponent. Just didn't work against Floyd, lol!

Even Roach didn't think Manny won the 6th, after that round he says, "C'mon Manny, ur letting this fight get away from you", considering Marquez prob got the 5th too, I think it's pretty clear the judges messed up there...

I had JMM winning the 6th, but Pac won the 7th and I think the judges gave it to Marquez.

both rounds were close as ****

Lampley's commentary is terrible
