Mendoza has the height and the power to cause Erdei trouble, I think his style is the worst Erdei could imagine. Erdei will never have problems with pressure fighters or smaller fighters...

He admitted yesterday he had a bad day.

Mendoza was tailor made for Erdei:tall,stiff,predictable,one-dimensional,slow.
Mendoza can punch, but Erdei has faced much better puncher than Mendoza in the ring.
Erdei showed a pathetically weak performance against a very limited opponent yesterday night!

Erdei said after the contest that Mendoza was the best puncher he ever faced. He fought Ulrich, Sahnoune, Garay and Gonzalez, all 4 are strong fighters, but he considers Mendoza as the strongest...

Actually it was the first time I saw Erdei rocked.

Although I agree that this was a bad performance, I don't think Mendoza was tailor made for Erdei as you said. Erdei is a counter puncher and Mendoza went backwards all night. Erdei had to press the action had to go forward which he never really liked. What's more, Mendoza was much stronger than he expected and his height and reach advantage was a bit too much for Zsolt. He said he never really felt the distance which makes sense if you look at how many times he missed even with his jab.

Erdei with this kind of fights will lose his shine and will go down.
