Foreman gets my vote, but this is hardly an easy match.

I favor Foreman to beat Tony Tubbs but Tubbs would have a much better chance than you expect. If Foreman doesn't come in in top shape he could find himself getting outboxed and on the wrong end of a decision.

As for the thread?

Foreman KO's Witherspoon.
90s Foreman loses a decision to peak Witherspoon.

Witherpoon was a very good fighter who could have beaten Holmes.

Too bad Holmes didn't rematch him when Spoon should have gotten even better.

Young Foreman would have had too much power for Spoon. Foreman in 6 by TKO.

witherspoon had class but when was his peak, how consistant was it? Did he even have a peak? Tim's best performance was a fight he lost. The best fight he won (bruno) he looked sloppy. He always lacked something. A great car with no wheels or great wheels with no tyres.

Tim did not Kayo that many contenders, George kayoed champions.
