I watched it not all that long ago. Good technical fight, although I thought LMR was in controll through most of the fight.

As I recall Federico Thompson was rated highly in the welterweights back then. He knocked champion Don Jordan out in a non-title fight and drew with Paret before Paret was champion. Luis seemed to handle Thompson in the ring without much problem; better than most.
