![]() In case you lose the bet, you're left with $1 (instead of $0, if you'd be it all). People who are left with $0 automatically get a replenishment bank of $75 the next time a new vbookie thread is created. People who are left with $1...don't. So you would have to place a $1 bet on the next event (and maybe win back a few bucks...making for a very slow rebuilding process). If you lose, then you can wait until the next time to have your new $0 balance restored to $75. |

Acosta is the defending champ, more experienced, and eats undefeated prospects for breakfast.
The oddsmakers aren't always swayed by hype. That said, Rios is an offensive wrecking ball. I can see why fans would expect him to be the favorite. He just happens not to be.

Same here.
Rios has been over 9 rounds twice, with 6 of his 26 fights (23%) going the distance. His fights average 4.5 rounds. Acosta has been over 9 rounds 7 times, with 8 of his 33 fights (24%) going the distance. His fights average 4.75 rounds. Average their stats together and its a 65% chance of a KO in under 5 rounds with a 24% chance they go the full 12 rounds. |

If Rios lets you down that lousy little dollar is going to be an albatross around your neck for a while.
