I've seen the fight, Virchis was slow as always. Crap fight.

Virchis is always going to be Virchis, always making for awful fights but you just can't be sure you'll make it to the end. That's what I like about him, h's a bum, but he doesn't care.

We all know that he punches hard and has a great chin. This fight he kept his hands up more which is positive, but he still moves too slow through the ring for my liking and has no upper body movement. Hawkins was crap by the way.

and this wasnt some kind of laying down job by hawkins!! the guy was really hurt.

do you sometimes watch K1?? well, there is a similar knockout: semmy schilt knocked out ray sefo with a jab (can be seen on youtube i think). the knockout of hawkins by virchis was basically the same.

virchis can knock out ANYONE!

He hasnt been transformed from a slow plodder into a speedy runner within the last couple of weeks,has he!

Hawkins had gone the full route with both Sam Peter and David Tua.Both fighters are big punchers.Neither Tua nor Peter had been able to take Hawkins out.Virchis did.
Impressive victory for the slow Ukrainian,dont you think so?

the first time i saw it i was wondering what hawkins was doing on the ground
perhaps he converted to islam i thought as his head was on the ground face first and his arse was up in the air.

because of the german tv coverage virchis had his back to the camera and i never saw a left hook or right hand go out and was puzzled.

only on the replay could you see hawkins jump in at him and a pile driver jab knock him sensless.

i bet 3/4 of the crowd never saw it either.
