Good fighter.
But the most important point: He wants to be recognized as Finnish fighter

What time will the fight start? If he beats Peter I will be impressed. This is a very dangerous fight for him, he has had only 14 fights. I would have felt better if he had had more expereince, but he sure has heavy hands.

Our broadcast will start at 9 pm CET - 3 pm EST. It is scheduled for 3 and a half hours. I guess it will be the last fight before the main event. So somewhere around 10:30-11 pm CET.

Damn. It sounds like the German card is going to conflict with the French one.

(last time Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam fought, the main event started just prior to 5pm eastern US time; or 10pm UK time; 11pm CET/Parisian time).

This time, there will be overlap with both Helenius-Peter and Huck-Nakash.

I am a heavyweights nutcase so I guess I would pick this one over Hassan with the long name if I had access to both cards.

I am in an unfortunate position of being a big fan of both Helenius and N'Dam N'Jikam (and don't have any weight division preferences).

Also, part of me hopes that this Israelite boxer is actually good enough to give Huck a tough fight. I've wanted to see him lose for a while and especially since the Lebedev robbery.

It would suck to miss any of this stuff, but it looks like that is how the cookie must crumble..

By the way, a card from Berlin, Germeny have just started. Selcuk Aydin is fighting in the first fight. He was suppossed to fight Andre Berto at one point.

Yeah an Arena card. Arslan destroyed his opponent in 3 rounds in a beatdown.

I missed Aydin while in the toilet (very quick ending!! ) but Arslan looked very good, after a sluggish opening round. He knocked his opponent down in the 2nd but it was ruled a slip. Then the standing stoppage came in the 3rd as Firat dished out heavy punishment.

His punches still look sharp.

Also on the card were some heavyweight prospects. Ondrej Pala won his rematch with Oleksiy Mazkyin by retiring him on his stool after 7 rounds of toying with him. Pala looked very skilled. Erkan Teper looked much less impressive winning a six round decision over very old and slow Robert Hawkins. It was only his 5th pro fight but there did not look to be a lot of potential there. Pala could be a nice contender.

I have just read that Robert Helenius is 108,5 kg (239 lbs) and Samuel Peter 117,9 kg (260 lbs).

Peter's weight is too high. I am disappointed with this development. I guess he gave up. It does not make much sense since this fight is a crossroad for him.

I debated this in a thread up in the General Forum; Peter has probably had and blown so many chances now that he feels beaten before he even steps in the ring. I think he's mentally broken, and Helenius will finish him off tomorrow.

I do not go to the general forum since I have not watched ESPN FNF yet. I will do it afterwards. I do not want to see the results.

I regard of Peter I am really disappointed becuase I was hoping he would give Helenius a good test. This weight takes away a little bit from the importance of the fight. It is not Helenius's fault though. It is Peter's decision or lack of dedication.
