My interest in MMA just went out the door. I liked Strikeforce's product and presentation and Scott Coker is a stand up individual. The UFC to me is way too much like WWE it has turned into a farce and Dana White is a POS who signs fighters to Slave contracts and is a manipulator and if you are not one of his "pets" you are treated like shit. This is horrible for MMA as a whole. Just awful. |

Why buy them if they are not gonna put Strikeforce champs against UFC champs? This is dumb. Strikeforce will be desolved by the end of the year.

Because it'll bastardize the product of course. I just want good matchups and PPV and the deeper the talent pool, the more my $49.95 becomes worth spending. |

Hes fuckin dreaming if people continue supporting monthly garbage PPV with Bisping in the main event. Hes just saying that now becuase he wants to milk it as much as possible (more ppv events). Soon as he sees a decline in ppviews bought, hed be scrambling to put Overeem vs. Cain.
Dana isnt the smartest (more lucky) but he aint stupid either. |

So surprised this is happening.
And nothing's happening to Daley, Barnett, Overeem etc. They're gonna have their normal Strikeforce contracts, and when they're up, if Strikeforce is still around they can probably resign if they want. However, if it folds and UFC absorbs it, I imagine they're kicked to the curb, pretty harsh but that's the way it is. And production value in no way devalues my enjoyment of MMA. I admit it's a very meat-head friendly production campaign but I'm all for it. Really surprised about this news though, but what the fuck are people bitching at? The big fights we all want to see are more likely to happen, and this could be a plus; Fedor probably won't fight again under the UFC umbrella. Strikeforce is just gonna go on as it is with Zuffa reaping the rewards. I've heard that they're not talking about co-promotion fights or taking SF fighters to UFC but are open to UFC fighters going to Strikeforce, and how can that be bad? It means talent that may pull a Werdum in UFC are allowed to go to SF and pick it up. It's all good, I see no cons from this unless you're just "hurrdurr ufc are ruining mma". |
