An open letter to Paul Daley

This is why I feel the world gone crazy. what legitimate reason has Paul got against Dana? Dana said he spoke to Paul in the dressing room after the incident with Kosckec, and that Paul was totally unrepentant. all he had to do was apologise and maybe except a token fine or something like that.

What freaks me out is that I feel I'm alone in this opinion. There just seems to be no concept of decency and right and wrong anymore . The fact that so many people are okay with the way Paul is handling himself makes me despair about the future of society

Don't get me wrong Dana is a great businessman... GREAT!

But, he is very hot headed and he is the first to admit that. You can tell he is a Bostonian!

He makes calls based on how he feels sometimes and not based on business.

For example. Drugs cheats and money laundering is cool but no punchbing after the bell!

What Daley did was stupid and very wrong but a 1 year ban and 50% fine to go 25% charity and 25% SAC would be enough.

I'd be angry if my company sacked me and told me i'd never work for them again and then bought the company i moved to!

You're totally alone because you're taking Dana's word as gospel. Do you know the precise in's and outs of his discussion with Daley? Do you work as Daley's spokesman? Are you Paul Daley in disguise? No no and no.
As for your philosophical interpretation that's more hogwash. A man who is not willing to stand for what he believes in will fall for anything. If this is what Daley believes in rightly or wrongly its HIS CHOICE.
Personally i back him to the hilt as there's is no reason whatsoever for ANY man to have to curtail to someone else's whim purely because you think there are no other options. There's ALWAYS an option.

He's not. His benefactors are the Fertita brothers and the Casino Oligarchs that they run. They call the real shots here. Not Dana. He's only a minority stakeholder in Zuffa at less than 10%. He's a promoter nothing more or less.
Id say Bob Arum Don King and even Cedric Kushner have had far more significance as boxing promoters and businessmen in the sport of boxing than White has had in MMA head to head.

Business via notoriety, lies, smear campaigns and viral marketing is not great business by any definition. All things being considered Dana has gone far with the type of character that he is. But if he wants to enter the big leagues and be taken seriously he's going to need to learn how to play the game.

I hate the type of businessman that he is but if i were to get to that level in my life i would have no choice but to sign with him as all other fighters now... sad but true
