He did decent work with the left but his right hand was not only his best punch but one of the most dangerous punches of all time which I'm sure his opponents would have told you.

For me, it's like saying a striker is the best player on the team while forgetting that it was the midfielder who supplied him

His left wasn't as dangerous as his right, but it was still highly dangerous. He was able to double up on his left hook for brutal knockouts over Archie Moore and Harry Mathews.

Rocky held knockout power in either hand, but his right hand was where the true 1 punch KO power was.

People keep bringing up power. Of course his right was harder.

But I bet the damage in the Archie Moore fight, for one, was dealt with the left uppercut over anything else.

His left uppercut was effective, but it was his left hook that was repeadly banging Moore's eye.

His left hook was often the punch that set up his right hand.

There is a lot of truth in the statement that Rocky's left uppercut was his best punch, in the amateurs he would use this punch with lethal effect, usually by leaning back against the ropes then springing forward and unleashing it with full force, very few metaphorically survived it: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

His right elbow was his hardest shot.
