I think Rua was scared and probably tentative. That first knee had him dumping his pants and he was shut down mentally during the first rounds onslaught. He looked scared during the weigh in, not even looking Jones in the eye.
If I saw a skinny guy throw around big fukers like Hamil and Bader around with ease, I'd be shitting too.lol |

It was the weight cut and the jet lag and the very poor Brazilian food they have in New Jersey that cost Shogun this fight. Prime Shogun beats two John Jones' and one Rampage.

What was wrong with his arms then?
I was pulling for Shogun, but he got tooled. I give Jones full credit. Shogun was useless because Bones rendered him useless. It was just youth and athleticism dominating. |

Yes he got off first and controlled the distance, where the fight was and had shogun guessing at all times. his strikes came at random intervals as so did the take downs. after the first round, Shogun looked worn, the second round just got worse and we saw what happened in the third. lets not mention how he just seems to be 10x stronger than him. shogun had no answer, his last attempt hailmary haymakers from far away weren't even remotely close to landing on Jones' shadow let alone on Jones, that must have been pretty discouraging.
