Wow how average did he look? CC was just a fossil of himself and snob still struggled immensely to get the victory. Going to be interesting when the SF heavys start coming over. Snob will become a long distance memory fighting in some regional promotion for peanuts.

Yeah for all his athletic ability he's just not a good fighter! You can't just walk into the fight game with no experience it mite work now fighting shot guys and below average guys but when he steps up he's gonna get ****ed!

The thing with snob is he's your typical UFC TapOut meathead. There's not much upstairs. But because he's big and has heavy hands he thinks he can have it. The guy has some talent and certainly was one of the better guys on TUF but thats no saying much. When put up against world class talent he going to get tooled and tooled bad. Matter of fact id prefer him as good come backing opponent for Brock.

Cro showed that Schaub has little clinch or ground game. IMO Schaub is never is great shape either. I wanna' see Schaub fight Struve. As it stands, Schaub is going nowhere IMO. Not impressed by him at all. |

Other the Roy that whole group sucked. Been saying for a longtime... once BS and Matt steps up and fights not a ghost or a punching bag they are going to get beat... I might be wrong but still to me they are not that good. A good win for these two is if they beat the Great Pat B. He is in their class and would show what if any of the 3 got. Lets face it. P.B. shoudv'e beat Cro-Cop and just fell in love with him in the fight.

Struve beats Schaub as soon as it hits the ground, Gonzaga would have beaten Schaub if he wasn't retarded. As soon as he stopped boxing with him he almost choked him in about 5 seconds.

No one is saying schaub is the next great heavyweight. He is pretty good, he could fight and has power. Crocop please joined liddell and arlovski in the retirement home. Time to hang it up buddy.

I honestly thought Cro Cop would win this fight going in. I thought Schaub may win a lot of the action with jabs and movement, but I thought Cro Cop would eventually land a clean straight left to set up a clean knock out.
That was an ugly fight, but Schaub did some good things. The few times Cro Cop attempted to load up on the left hand, Schaub saw it coming; and closed the distance for the takedown. That 2nd round was uneventful, Cro Cop busted Schaubs nose, and Schaub lost a point for hitting behind the head. Schaub may have well been on his way to losing a decision when he knocked Cro Cop out. I hoped Cro Cop would call it quits when he ko'd Barry. That would have been the perfect time. True competitors will always struggle with going out at the right time. That's part of the competitive nature that made them great to begin with. |
